Andreea Gheorghe

I am currently doing a Broadcast Journalism MA at City, University of London, projected to finish in June.

Prior to moving into journalism, I worked for the London Stock Exchange Group and the European Parliament. I possess a good understanding and knowledge of politics and government, as well as the business and finance sectors.

Alongside my masters, I am the Sports Editor at Riverside Radio, a community radio station in London. As part of the role, I am responsible for building relationships with local teams, sourcing guests and conducting interviews.

I am multilingual. In addition to being fluent in English and Romanian, I have various levels of fluency in Spanish (advanced), French (pre-intermediate), and Russian (beginner).

Before starting my career, I graduated with a First-Class degree in Film Studies and Economics from the University of Liverpool, where presented and produced a weekly radio show for the Liverpool Student Radio.​
